The 10th Biennial NCCO Conference hosted by Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia will provide opportunities for professional development and rejuvenated connections with peers. This year, EcoVoice Founder Dr. Kirsten Hedegaard will be speaking on “Singing for a Sustainable Future: How the Choral Arts Can Help Address the Climate Crisis”. This talk will explore trends in eco-choral repertoire, including large-scale works and smaller octavos, as well as ideas for creative collaborations at the collegiate level. Additionally, resources for eco-arts research, sustainable practices, and eco-music organizations will be shared.
